Yea it would be to take all the heat out of the engine bay, let it just flow threw, i think it looks lame, id rather a vented bonnet like this lol:

The "vents" in front of the scoop are actually there to create downforce.

It's definitely different, it will probably warm up on me no doubt. I still think I prefer the v5 spoiler, or u could go racer styles and chuck on a buddlyclub wing like BT's
