what are peoples views on this? it has a brand new block, rings, new turbo etc......

nice especially with a proven new rebuild.

If I bought it I would get rid of the 4"big bore and swap it for a stock STI one, and keep it unmolested.

Nothing wrong with the exhaust. Is it a definitely a v3 sti? Better cars for the money imo.

Good solid cars the v3 I had one was mint never had any trouble with my sti\'s but wrxs were shockingly bad

I\'d be checking what parts were used in the build to be sure of the value.... Otherwise I think get a AA check or something from a local subaru guru and if it checks out then 7500 is a reasonable price for a rebuilt sti.

p.s lower it, tints, nicer mags would be awesome and stealth as

It\'s been on trademe for ages, last time it was running fine... Since had a rebuild..... Hmm..

It\'s done less than 1000km since rebuild they said, if I pursue it any further I\'m wanting the recipt of what was actually done, because I wouldn\'t want it to be any less of a car than what it was factory

would also make sure the Gbox is in good condition as thats the other big ticket item, if it needed a rebuild at under 150kms could be an indication of abusive driving which may have turned the gearbox into a time bomb as well, just a thought.

Just to add if this is a CS members car I don\'t mean to suggest you have thrashed the car Was just thinking tired engine could = tired gearbox too.

I\'m going to Dunedin this weekend, am going to have a look maybe, how much would it cost to replace gearbox? If I had to down the track

$3-400 for box $50-100 for oil do it yourself.
