this is the one i brought about 3 weeks ago has been fixed on the cheap i would not go near it plus the dealer is a dodgy bugger still haven\'t got my money back and hes got it back up on trade me yell any one looking at it not to buy it

it had a blown head gasket and the big ends where gone he did the whole rebuild for $3000

How are you going about getting your money back? It is technically your car so I\'m pretty sure trademe wouldn\'t be too happy to find out hes selling YOUR car? Maybe even police report it?

he keeps telling me he sent the money if its not here Monday i will report it to trade and call the police and see if i have any standing with them, its got ling long tires on the back they where amazing, but no hes just messing me around and i know from my mechanic that $3000 isn\'t enough to cover what it needed unless he can prove what he did but if anything else goes wrong hes the worst dealer to try and sort things out with so yeah i wouldn\'t go near him

GL with that thought. Not exactly heaps of good 2.5 STi longblocks kicking round in NZ and why put anything less in it? Even if you did find one I would think it would be thro an importer who would want top $.

haha fair call mate, I\'m not trying to be that Muppet with a personal vendetta against this guy but so far my dealings with him and his car have not been good at all i just don\'t want other people to end up in the same situation as i have had that\'s all you could buy it and have another issue and be carless and moneyless for like a month that\'s all I\'m trying to say here my title may come across as angry but just being honest so people don\'t have to deal with this guy.

good on you posting it up here, i would look out for other people as well and tell them of this guy, the dealer is a doosh and will just fool someone else now, hope you do get your money back

For any one that is still interested I Finley got my money back nearly a month after this whole thing started and 2 weeks after being told I was going to get my money back he made good on his deal, this is why I\'m warning people off the car I\'ve been left with no car or money all this time and he is not pleasant to deal with but it\'s over now, car hunting time
