Wgtn monthly meet: Thursday 24th april. Discussion/attendance

Hey guys

So this months meet will be the night before anzac day.

What do you guys wana do? Get something simple like fish and chips, go for a cruise round the bays, then back to town for gelato depending on time?

Or even a subi dawn service if anyones keen/going to it already? Ill be there...

Have got quite a few new wellington members, so I wana try and get them out and get welly back to what we used to be

Sorry about that lads been a tad busy lately...

Since noones given a preference, how about burgerfuel newtown? I know weve got a lot of new central members so hopefully this will bait em out

Where:burgerfuel new town (park on the bottom level on the countdown car park, will be great for taking some photos) then a cruise round the bays, might even take the 200 odd kgs out of the legacy for it

When: 7:30pm, Thursday the 24th

Will send a text out / put a map up a bit later

As for anzac day, I havnt decided where im going yet. Temtped to go out and watch spark38, then coffee somewhere afterwards, mabye my place, mabye his place?

Could always go to those places called cafes for a coffee haha unless there closed. If a few people come out to Upper Hutt ill come down and meet you guys.

The Upper Hutt Dawn Service parade starts at 0530, where the old Smiths City was on Queen St (opp the Countdown), it heads towards the City Council building on Fergusson Drive (next to Expressions/H2O Extreme), it will be chocka anyway. So I suggest getting there early for a good observation spot.

It\'s my first year in uniform, and in the parade/squad. Judging from last year, Upper Hutt usually has a very large turnout!

It usually wraps up around 0715, and many head to the Cossie Club for their $5 breakfast, unfortunately coffee is additional. We\'re heading out to the Porirua RSA for their 1000 service; otherwise coffee at mine would be most welcomed...

I probably won\'t be heading out to Newtown on Thurs night; as I have to prep and iron my rig for the next morning, and ensure my shoes are highly polished.

Had dinner, went for coffee/ice cream, then had a cruise round the bays. Was nice to meet some of the new members as well
