You mean Dunedin to Nelson and back? I did that about 5 times a year for 4 years back in the nineties - its a good drive ;]

nah the bonnets at my mates pl in nelson city, and im always traveling to chch, Plus heaps of peoples travel CHCH to DN all the time, just trying to make it as cheap as possible, I have mates who can store it in chch, and could possibly get it transported for free thru work from chch.

I also brought the mrs her new (now old) car from nelson and drove up and back...trying to avoid the drive but will if i have too!

Gidday, if your ever travling to chch and can fit a bonnet in your car...not sure if it will fit in tho, flick me a pm as i need to get a bonnet down to dunners but can get a mate to sort chch to dunedin easy....

Why dont you just chuck it on mainfreight, a lot cheaper than driving to nelson...

Thats pretty damn good, last quote I got for my old bonnet to up north was a $180 bucks at mainfreight.
