Thoughts on this car

Hi guys, have recently blown a rwd on track and sort of in a 'time for a change' mood.

Thinking I might want another subaru

just wanting to know your thoughts on this car, as it looks way too cheap for what it is

Yes it's very cheap... maybe it has problems or is rough. "as is, where is" always puts me right off.

Weird how it's missing all decals and badges.

Judging by that report it has engine issues. Good parts car loren.

I wouldnt pay more than 6-7k if it needs a new engine or sb.

Engine knocking, smoke... i'd be thinking engine...

I saw this on Turners website before christmas. didn't see what it sold for in the end, but i think it had around 5900 reserve, i could be wrong

Body looked really tidy but the engine bay pics looked filthy/greasy/oily & awful, coupled with the report Loner posted which is the same one I saw, engine is most def close to nugga nugga land and it's no surprise this guy hasn't posted pics of under the hood. looks like it needs alot of work

Would be a nice car if you threw $7000 at it...Motor rebuild..gearbox and diff leaks..panel repairs including sills..steering rack..etc etc etc..

needs alot of TLC..

Well for me its a type r and a v5, if i had the money id buy it because finding a coupe is hard, finding a v5/6 is hard. I had to settle with a v4 ra when i really really wanted a type r.

Sounds like a bucket of trouble waiting to happen, could just be that the turner's assessment was very harsh though.

Door sill damage though, ergh...
