my v8 scoop don't move at all, only had it up to 186km\h tho, will see in sept how it handles manfeild.

do you have a carbon bonnet for it to move alot?

Nah its a cheapo plastic one on a normal alloy bonnet. Going into the wind or a decent cross wind and the front edge that overhangs the base waves a lot at 180-190+

Kinda cool but a little distracting, when I got it put on the idea of doing 180+ round a track more than once in my life hadnt seriously entered my head.

This is what happens on the track when it does go bye bye..... ;D and one screwed bonnet, was the perfect excuse to go carbon fibre. Still got a big scoop, just carbon fibre and massive bolts holding it down this time round haha

Another mate of mine who is a member on here, she has this on her v8 wrx. Looks the piece and I like.....

I have been a little concerned about it coming off but it seems quite solid at the base, just very bendable at the front edge.

I think it will split down the middle before it comes off the bonnet. I have been considering going back to the stock scoop for track anyway and just keep the big scoop when its driven on weekends.

Along the leading edge is where it failed on mine, I didn't inspect it often and it looked like a crack had formed to which lead the scoop completely failing and bending backwards on the main straight. It didn't come off completely but flew backwards where it was still bolted down to the bonnet on the back of the scoop. As u can see in the pic, ul see a section of the bonnet where the scoop bolts on has warped back as my scoop was literally sitting on my windscreen and me ****ting bricks as I couldn't see anything coming up to a hairpin corner haha

i bought a v8 1 off tm asked the panelbeater to bolt it and use a adhesive, obviously he just bolted it with the front 2 bolts breaking out of the scoop.a tube of araldite later and she aint going nowhere now ever looks rugged as but i couldnt care less about looks.just a idea :P

im pretty sure there is a version 8 down in chch with front mount and vented bonnet as a pose to scoop.

Add jdm style rims and it looks very understated and very hot.

      Afternoon team,
im new to the group first time posting. Im hoping some body can help me get my launch control all dialled in on my link g4x. Ive had the computer and car all tuned from chris at prestige awesome knowlegable guy super happy with the results but now im wanting to get my launch/anti lag all dialled in. Ive been reading multiple different forums etc all with different conflicking information which has made me nervious with what do i listen to this or that if you get what i mean. Now ive started to make myself familiar with my PClink software etc the past few weeks and im eager to learn how to do minor setups or tweaks etc so im not relieing on my tuner so much and obviously saving myself abit hurt in the back pocket.
Now back to the question at hand.... Im wondering if theres and one who could please share there knowledge and wisdom with setting all my values, timing, fuel etc when i have launch control armed and engaged, or even a launch tune file they can possibly send me to load onto my tune. Ive figured out the setup of my digital inputs turning launch control on etc and its obvisously on its pre set factory settings. It engages but doesnt sound the greatest or as angry as it should i feel. Hence reaching out to you good buggers.

Cheers in advance for any info and help yous maybe able to give me.

      Cheers Shaun
