Sti springs with bilsteins

Correct. But you need to get the ballance right. A 25mm rear with a stock front will push it towards alot more oversteer. Have a read on LGT.com, heaps of info on what others have done pertaining to these cars. The general concensus is if you're doing just one, do the rear, which for most brands is 20-21mm.

Understeer is deemed a safer outcome to oversteer by most manufacturers in loss of traction situations which is why stock Subaru's always have bigger front than rear bars. It all comes down to what you want. The matched sets some brands offer keep the front to rear bias roughly the same while reducing bodyroll. Where if you want a more neutral/oversteering setup then a big rear is what you want. Just keep in mind that the biggest stock rear bar these cars came with is a hollow 18mm one, so going to a 25mm solid one is a huge increase and may be overkill for what you are doing with the car

OK thanks.

So you would suggest that I should go to a stainless steel 22mm rear from factory 19mm? My goal is to reduce body roll to have better control and is why I want to do the springs and the sway bars at the same time. Handling before power haha.

I did just get a full sti genome catback though that I haven't installed yet, I'm excited to!

If anyone wants to dig out the info on 41 thread let me know ill dredge it up. Dont think we deleted it just hid it as too many members were getting fcked over and the committee didnt think that was acceptable.

There's probably a heap of other usefull part numbers in there too

Should be some Cusco part numbers too (though I am pretty sure I have them on file somewhere).

Would be a massive job though to retrieve all the useful data and leave 41's crap behind.

PS: did you hear that someone bought them/took over and the new team promises much better service?

Have heard it yet to see it. Bit of a wait time on a few items ive heard.

Really needs cataloguing to be any use as a resource. Few threads that were in his section but think the stockys 29 pages so not colossal.

From STI parts catalog:

*B4 = Sedan

TW = Touring Wagon

Late seeing this, but this is extremely helpful for me. I'm getting some STI Pink Springs for my 2.0 GT spec.B, wasn't sure what part numbers to look for. Now I do. :3

      Afternoon team,
im new to the group first time posting. Im hoping some body can help me get my launch control all dialled in on my link g4x. Ive had the computer and car all tuned from chris at prestige awesome knowlegable guy super happy with the results but now im wanting to get my launch/anti lag all dialled in. Ive been reading multiple different forums etc all with different conflicking information which has made me nervious with what do i listen to this or that if you get what i mean. Now ive started to make myself familiar with my PClink software etc the past few weeks and im eager to learn how to do minor setups or tweaks etc so im not relieing on my tuner so much and obviously saving myself abit hurt in the back pocket.
Now back to the question at hand.... Im wondering if theres and one who could please share there knowledge and wisdom with setting all my values, timing, fuel etc when i have launch control armed and engaged, or even a launch tune file they can possibly send me to load onto my tune. Ive figured out the setup of my digital inputs turning launch control on etc and its obvisously on its pre set factory settings. It engages but doesnt sound the greatest or as angry as it should i feel. Hence reaching out to you good buggers.

Cheers in advance for any info and help yous maybe able to give me.

      Cheers Shaun
