My old Bookmark for the old forum was the "New content" button

 

now the simialr / same link is www.clubsub.org.nz/forum/index.php?/discover/unread/

 

to see all new unread content since last visit, it is otherwise found up top under the activity menu, then the lil star next to the Thread takes you to that post! (As on PC or Laptop browser)

 

and go :

In the old forum, the links from the unread results took you to the first unread post in the thread. Is there a way to do that still? Tapping the result entry seems to take me to the start of the thread.

Where it says '51 minutes ago' - click on that and it takes you to that post

or the Star next to it

I dont see a star in my view, but if i click on the "1 minute ago" or what ever time it says there ti takes me to that post...

quite likely a desktop / browser / non-mobile thing seems everyone see's it slightly differently

Do we still have to use things like photobucket to up load photos?

At this stage, host your photos anywhere you like. Even Facebook.

 

copy the image location, click "insert other media" And past in the url box

you dont even need to hit the insert media button just past the link to the image & this works it all out for you

That is kind of handy, but there might have been a whole page of replies before the one you just selected. Seeing that a thread had updated content, and having a single link to take you to the earliest unread post in that thread was really handy!

It's still there, click on the star or ball to the left of the thread name.

new hack : if you want to mention or get someones attention @ Tag them 

 

literally type the @symbol then their name (the forum pops up a search like box) and then they get a notification!

 

ymmv on mobile view
