nah boost gauge is correct ive tried 2 types.. it seems to be boosting algood. yeah free boost on 13-14 psi? weird huh

armstrong subaru did the rebuild i met a suby wrecker lastnight said few of his clients that had rebuilds from them also had boost problems FUJNNy enough they had blocked up pipes and stuff to reduce boost to save their rebuild warranties!!!!!!!

so you have nothing hooked up to the internal gate now?

your boost problem maybe caused my the factory (provided that's what you use) controller, it may have been hooked up wrong, leak or set via the ECU to run a certain pressure

but holding steady in each gear doesn't sound like free boosting, normally it will keep boosting till it hit a cut of some sort

Yea well if the waste gate hose is off its free boosting, but its if not cutting then yeh id check out the turbo/up & down pipes/BOV leaks/boost leaks

if u boosting to 13-14 all the way and no spikes and u have no hose in the wastegate then its not normal bro..

with no hose in the wg as the revs rise u should see more and more boose like 19+ and then it should cut out..

if u only reaching 14 then its defenatly getting strangled.. check all the exhaust etc for blocks..

as for downpipe, teh bell mouthe brings boost faster as its got the highest outlet flow.. they have the wg seperator and its recesses up to the wy hole (needs accurate design) and that is the best of both worlds as allows top rpm flow once wg is open..

the simese flows well once the wg is open but a good open bellmouth collector with recessed wg split is best

sweet bro funny enough on the weekdn i had aboost cut on the motory way in 3rd gear? lol

so i but the hose back on for now just incase!! ill get somne one to check it out

      Afternoon team,
      im new to the group first time posting. Im hoping some body can help me get my launch control all dialled in on my link g4x. Ive had the computer and car all tuned from chris at prestige awesome knowlegable guy super happy with the results but now im wanting to get my launch/anti lag all dialled in. Ive been reading multiple different forums etc all with different conflicking information which has made me nervious with what do i listen to this or that if you get what i mean. Now ive started to make myself familiar with my PClink software etc the past few weeks and im eager to learn how to do minor setups or tweaks etc so im not relieing on my tuner so much and obviously saving myself abit hurt in the back pocket. 
      Now back to the question at hand.... Im wondering if theres and one who could please share there knowledge and wisdom with setting all my values, timing, fuel etc when i have launch control armed and engaged, or even a launch tune file they can possibly send me to load onto my tune. Ive figured out the setup of my digital inputs turning launch control on etc and its obvisously on its pre set factory settings. It engages but doesnt sound the greatest or as angry as it should i feel. Hence reaching out to you good buggers.
