I can take u out in mine for a legal speeds test and comparison....Im a driver tho not a mechanic so cant offer help other than what it should/could feel like.

Drop me line sometime or turn up to Thursday nite if Im turning up. Im in Whitby....v5 STI wagon.

We can do a low boost and high boost run.

hey so lastnight reset the ECU still boosts the same im just looking for a nice cheap boost gauge to test the boost on. a mate might lend me his tonight so ill update you all tomorrow. no pic of my awesome piping yet was dark when i did the reset.

just looking forward i checked tradme for a piping set 369.00 anyone know ne where better?

i wudnt worry about the piping just yet, get your boost sorted and then take it from there.

ill sus a boost gauge tonight and post yous all up tomorrow fingers corossed its just running a low boost

question: is it possible to run less then the desired boost it would usually run off the sti ECU? without a boost controller etc?

limp mode - yes

if your vac hose piping is done wrong or leaking - yes

hey guys yeah so tested it and sitting on 8-9 psi through every gear!!

hey pappu how did you get yours sorted?

also how do i add a pic? i got a pic of my awesome piping lol

awwwwww got it!! haha

so yeah theres my piping for the front mount!!

there seems to be no leaks in the vacs or piping aye??

maybe i should check the ECU? - i just have a feeling to gurantee the warranty on the rebuild they may have tuned it to be lower? (if thats even possible) becuase when i called the company who did the rebuild subject to warranty is that car was to be run on the desired boost (which i thought would have been standard sti boost) guess not?

Factory should be 14-15psi.

Could be a number of reasons why..Not sure how youdf go about wokring out which it was though lol..

Is the boost controller even plumbed in ? (The factory one) As they might have just plumed the compresor housing straight to the wastegate port thing so will be just running wastegate boost..

they cant have changed the ecu to make it run less boost but there are ways to get it to run less, playing with the pill, plumbing it to run straight waste gate pressure. which it sounds like the later.

should be easy to up the boost, and then remove it to look like how they left it if you need anything under warrenty again

ill check this .. cheers. im sure it is tho... i just REALLY dont wana take it to a specialist and get ripped off lol!! i was gna just get a boost controller but yeah illd still have the same problem

no point getting aboost controller if you just want to run 14-15psi (factory) boost as you should be getting that..

My pic would be what i said plubmed by passing the facotry contoller..

There wil just be a short line going between the compressor housing on the turbo and the wastegate acutator on the turbo..

Not going up to the controller..

      Afternoon team,
      im new to the group first time posting. Im hoping some body can help me get my launch control all dialled in on my link g4x. Ive had the computer and car all tuned from chris at prestige awesome knowlegable guy super happy with the results but now im wanting to get my launch/anti lag all dialled in. Ive been reading multiple different forums etc all with different conflicking information which has made me nervious with what do i listen to this or that if you get what i mean. Now ive started to make myself familiar with my PClink software etc the past few weeks and im eager to learn how to do minor setups or tweaks etc so im not relieing on my tuner so much and obviously saving myself abit hurt in the back pocket. 
      Now back to the question at hand.... Im wondering if theres and one who could please share there knowledge and wisdom with setting all my values, timing, fuel etc when i have launch control armed and engaged, or even a launch tune file they can possibly send me to load onto my tune. Ive figured out the setup of my digital inputs turning launch control on etc and its obvisously on its pre set factory settings. It engages but doesnt sound the greatest or as angry as it should i feel. Hence reaching out to you good buggers.
