Best boost controller?

Whats your guys opinions on the best boost controller? I'm looking at getting a electronic one, probably HKS EVC. Anyone know of one for sale around ClubSub?

What are the HKS EVC-S like? Are they budget compared to the HKS EVC5?

Best boost controller would probably be Blitz SBC i-D Spec R. A lot of people like the Apexi AVC-R though.

Ive always found decent boost tap is all good. haha. Cheap as well

I love my EVC III. They are great controllers. Mine control boost perfectly, no spiking with my setup, and they are really easy to set. I've played with Greddy Profec B's and i do not like em one bit.

I've used the Apexi AVC-R on my old VR4 and loved it, held boost, too many settings to keep you drooling over what graphs and how many things you want displayed on it.

Do you want different boost settings in each gear, graphs etc etc?

The higher end ones have lots of features that most road users do not need.

Sure the likes of the AVC-R look bling, but often get nicked.

Hence why the VR4 got stolen now I own a Subie

I find the Profec B to be pretty good too. Very easy to setup.

i use the profecb with remote switching system on steering wheel and works well havent had any problems

turbosmart E street Controller=very good.

Also you can get parts for them,unlike hks and a few others

I just left it in HI-Boost...1.5Bar is ok for everyday drivin... ;D

I had a profec b spec2, it was awesome, a little weird to set up as boost setting works on a percentage rather than just a pressure, but was wicked once set up right.

made it come on boost quicker than factory set up and held solid to redline, maybe just 1 psi drop.

I only sold it as i'm going to a G4 which has excellent boost control
