MY new VORTEX

well did a roady today to wellington to pick up the vortex

I drove it onto the trailer which was a bonus

issues so far are rust (lots and lots)

windscreen broken so will price a new one and this will determine whether i restore or scrap(unless some one got a second hand one some where)

wiper not work

and heater fan only works on high (this i can fix )

brakes (brake we dont need no steeken brakes )

does run though

the tow home

new trailer worked a treat

headlights pop up and down and turn on and off

funky mirrors

broken window and non working wiper

got scoop

drivers side looks good

so does pax actually

digital dash out of an auto but it seems to work ok

Nice score. doesnt look to bad. my old late model vortexs number plate started with PX.

Save it. the later models are pretty rare

1991 FWD EA82 Turbo 5 speed at the moment

I will prolly fit my impreza AWD dual range box and a rear subframe from a RX

Out of interest, the dash is it a 4EAT one? If so, I have been looking for one, and have a manual one maybe we could swap...

It was DRFVDRs back in the 1990s. I think he said it got written off...

Ive been searching around for one of these for years but had no luck so far.

Yeah it was mine I sold it to my brother when I brought my Legacy (one of my regrets in life),they harder to find than a good RX11 or Brumby

I was chasing a couple as when I had mine there was like 3 others around here (one had the EA81 turbo conversion in it )
