Wheel Painters - Recommendations?

I've got a brand new unpainted set of factory 18" wheels for the GTB (bought them with the car three years ago), and I figured I should get them painted and swapped over seeing as they are taking up room in the house. I would like to get them matched to the factory colour as close as possible, which is why I don't plan on painting them myself. Anyone have any suggestions/ recommendations for folks to do this in Wellington?

yer these folks round in Mirimar i used, they powder coated my gtb rims for track and did an epic job.. thoroughly recommend.

In Miramar eh? Thats just around the corner!

ummm about $80 a rim, that was for full strip, prep and powdercoat.

cost less for prepped wheels.

i cant go past how nice they were and the job they did.

Failing that - Rimrite in Palmy are great with wheels, Im fairly sure they do colour as well as repair. However they arent the cheapest.

yeah also Magfix in Newlands - he's not cheap but does a good job...

He does all the work for the Audi and Porsche dealerships.

they cant colour match powder coating, there is a huge range you can choose though.

Any panel beater/paint shop can colour match.

If you want to do it on the cheap, union hardware or total body supplies in the hutt can colour match your paint then fill spray cans for you, you just need to use scotch bright pad to scuff them up then an etch primer and spray away.

Matched spraycans are about $25 per can from memory and you really need 1 per wheel to get decent coverage to stop stone chips.

But powdercoating will ALWAYS last longer than paint

Hey every one new to this site..but just to let every one know im a powder coater. I work at Supreme Paint and Powder Company were located at 34B Dragon street, Grenada north.
