Quiet night then.

I've had a group of 150 odd boyracers in about 70 or 80 cars, shooting air rifles at us and throwing bottles and rocks... It's a way too common occurrence down there.

Half of them have no respect for authority, the law, or anyone other than themselves and it makes people like us who (for the most part) obey the law and keep our cars of a good, warrantable standard look bad, because we have a "Boyracerish" car.

Pffft, this is half the reason why I moved to Auckland... I've had *NO* problems since I moved up here with Boyracers and I've only been pulled up once for a License check because they thought my car might of been stolen (driving down Railside Ave in Henderson at 2am). The people up here are friendlier too... I have to say, Christchurch is *THE* Bogan Cesspool of New Zealand.

Well there was apparently a group of 300 in countdowns car park, then multiple cars on fire from someone throwing molotov cocktails.  Couple people doing runners from road blocks and a few interesting domestics.

Made for good listening :D

Cool Nick, this is great, thanks!  Is it channel 3?

If I can get my hands on another scanner that has DC power at some point I can chuck up channels 2 and 3.
Scouting trademe since I'm hoping lots of people will be selling them due to the upgrade at some point.

Peak listeners last night was 98 :)

Another way to listen to the cops. as  they use the old 71-80 frequency.  if u have an old jap import the raido in that should pick it up. just take the band extender off . and Bingo. should be around 71.00 fm
