chch was nuts at the weekend. we followed the boy racer train in the van just to see what its all about. there were skid comps in the roads out marshlands, races etc. garage stations filling up with nice cars. Cops werent to worried by the looks, was pretty sedate. Heaps of people outside their houses just looking at the cars.
The only thing was people smashing others over at the lights, but boohoo..karmas a biatch.

im sure a lawyer could fight that, as you are legally alowed to listen in just not allowed to act on any info you hear...

Well I'm planning on going in tomorrow and finding out who was in charge of the investigation and finding what part exactly of the act it came under.
They may have just of said that to scare me off who knows.

Its not illegal to listen to scanners. My cop mates dont like them but still.
I would question them on it but they may turn round and say its a safety thing because its allowing access to people who normally have access to their radio signal.
Their reply will be interesting. Let us know

Pretty sure they cant tell you to take it down. Like scanners arent illegal and its not an encrypted tranmission therefore not illegal.

That was my thoughts too, Hence I chucked it up without any anonymous-ness.
I've been meaning to go in and see them and find out who was in charge and what exact point of the act it was in breach of cause I had a look through it and couldn't seem to find anything.
