Yeah not so flash :-\ Shoulda let the lifeguards blast ya back up.

IMO ask for several bags of frozen veggies and anything else resembling an ice pack, lie down, stack them a mile high over your cast so it sinks in. You're hella swollen.

If it's still ferking up tomorrow, go back to hosp and get it checked...or call healthline for a pro opinion.

ON A DIFFERENT NOTE...

Was one of the best days we've had. My first proper swim of summer... IT WAS F**KING EXCELLENT!! Water was cold, until you got used to it eh... think we had a few shrivelled-up guys :P Hot sand could have used a wee bit of that icy water.

Cruise down was bloody fantastic, cruise up... well yeah. FYI my car will use TWICE the petrol it usually does if you let a lead-foot stuff it to the carpet the whole way back :P Ya båstard.

Dinner at Two Fat Cows was divine! Best way of finishing the day off ;D

SO.

Who's up for another one of these other side of Megameet? ;D

Arrggghhh! It burns!!!!

Yeah, it was a really good cruise. Good road, excellent weather, fantastic waves, massive dinner lol!

Hehehe, my back seat passengers were definitely shaken, not stirred and they didn't seem to mind!

I ended up using a bit more then half a tank which considering the full car of people and the reasonable pace on the way down, I'm rather happy with!

Was one of the best days we've had. My first proper swim of summer (autumn season changed march 1st)... IT WAS F**KING EXCELLENT!! Oh yeah, and thanks to my back seat passengers for putting up with the spirited cornering at various times during the cruise  ;D

It was great to have three hot looking cars in close pursuit too... Shale, Hopai and Boostin! There would have been some great wing mirror shots if we'd thought to take them.

Hopai's car is a slut and drags her arse along the floor with the slightest provocation. Should have seen the damage after a Scenic Dr blat with Lan Killa and I in the back seat! :o

The exhaust hit the ground a few times too... SPARKS! ;D

(Speaking of sparkling... I'm pondering renaming my car Edward because he F**KING SPARKLES LIKE A FAIRY! ;D)

Oh, thanks to all of you who put up with the five of us that went swimming. MASSIVE HILL, burning hot sand and relentless sun. Going down was okay for those of us on two feet, going up was a pain in the arse. But spare a thought for poor Dave, who did it on crutches!

Next time... we'll try for a beach where the carpark and entry are on a relatively flat plane :P That beach was f**king amazing, but zomg STEEP.

Will post up soon with a new thread for the next one of these ;D

Yeah sorry about that. That is the only beach I could reliably take us to in Raglan where I knew there'd be surf, but I forgot about the long, steep hill down to the water.

Though the actual meaning is less than flattering, that is not what he meant.
