I actually don't know what its got to do with acc if we weren't paying for anything an i'd be happy to sign a waver form to go for a skid.

I talked to him for a good 2 hours last night and he doesn't know all the rules but doesn't want to take the rest either.

As he said he has everything to lose.

He's keen for the future and also said we should of had it last weekend 6th, 7th and i just said "would a could a should a".

Sorry once again i know how keen every body was and still is.

now thats why when you do it under a MSNZ Permit ACC doesn't come into it...

rocking up to a farm and just fanging it has these issues...

Yes signing  the waiver puts all responsibility onto the person.
My boss has one of the biggest motox rides in the waikato, for the local school.
Every person signs a disclaimer......many have been taken away by chopper and ambulance.

I have been farming for near enough 18years and the only people that come out to your farm in these cases are OSH!
ACC work in tandem with osh, however OSH do the inspecting on site not ACC.
Hope that clarifys any confusion you may have ;)

interesting as i found out the farm hand came off(broken angle) on one of his other farms he has a few does that mean all his farms are inspected or just that one.

I know if i keep asking him he might tell me to buzz off but i'm differently going to be have something to sign next time.

thanks itsgotgo and sorry for wasting your sausages.

Sounds like the "farm hand" just gives the bike shxt basically.
Plenty of guys as farm hands do this and have very little respect for machinery.
People wonder why "cow coc*ies" are making farm hands supply their own bikes now.
The average farm owner pays a minimum of 30k a year in acc levies and blokes like the one you have spoken of,will just increase that more, given time :(

No sausages wasted here mate....they are still in the freezer :D
Was looking forward to sharing my sausage with clunt ROFPMSL ;D

yeah the farmer said it was a straight race and thinks he must of been doing something silly(jumps) but wasn't there so can only assume.

don't worry the farmer is gutted he's just heading into town to get some safety signs for his cow shed as they must of fallen off ;)

he really wanted to annoy the old guy living next door and loves the sound of a Subaru especially one with a wastegate he said.

Sounds like a load of s*** to me to be honest..
weve had acciden5t on my old mans farm and acc or osh has never got involved...

Im sure all youve got to do is record it in your hazards/accident register under law but im sure most people dont do it...
