*STOLEN* Cash Reward! ERT735

Hi there, a friends sub has been stolen from Airways Motel on Russly Rd in Christchurch last night (11/04/10) while he is in Aus, I dont have many details at this stage but hopefully the pic (not the best) will help, and we have a cash reward for any info that helps us find it, in one piece or many!

I cant figure out how to put a pic up (grrr) I dont think he is a member as he has been in aus for a while, his Mum owns the motel and was storing it for him so its been there near the road for a few months now If I can email a pic can someone else figure out how to put it up?

it's 2003 first registered in august, so i would put a wild guess and say it's a V8; according to car jam

seems to me like there is an organized crime ring happening up there, esp with subies being easier to steal.

I've seen this car around chch heaps of times, only know because I hate the chromies (sorry, each to their own) so it stands out to me.

sucks to hear, i'll keep an eye out for it when I get back to NZ.

Yeah I couldn't tell from the rear, not so much of an expert on the subtle differences between b7,8,9. Good to know now tho

All good. AFAIK, v8 are basically the same as v7 but have that circular piece in red brake bit.

v9 have the red brake bit on the top, and the clear on the bottom.

Thanks guys, I know its probably a smouldering heap at the moment somewhere but you never know, reading the stolen section I cant believe how many of these go missing!!

And it was locked, alarmed and right at the back of the motel, could be seen slightly from the road but has about 10 cars next to it so someone is very clever and devious (basterds)

Some one in Christchurch has a very full garage with a lot of Christchurch Subaru's in it.

How can the police not be noticing the incredible increase of stole cars???

so sorry to hear about your mates car Bonita.

It does look like there has been a large rise in stolen WRX's lately, I dont think even the shells are being found.

I just wish we could find who it is and hoble them.
