rs wagon????

Yeah there is alot of that around, one girl I knew of had a "STI" B4.... She was absolutely adamant despite the only facts she had were stickers and badges to prove the fact, nothing would change her mind. Almost to a level of denial as she refused to even get the chassis code checked. Can understand why when u go out of your way to pay extra money for a "rare" model that was just made up by the seller.... Or even sometimes several owners before hand and previous owner also genuinely thinks it's legit also.

i am sure the previous generation wagons ie single turbo ones, the gt was auto and the rs was factory manual, as most gts were autos, same as sedans gt is factory auto and rs factory manual, please correct me if i am wrong , have never seen a twin turbo "rs wagon" though.

Post his number plate up, or PM it to me, i have access to the parts database from japan, that states exactly what it is.

But i can tell you now, there was no RS wagon. There was however, GT sedans, and lots of them. For the second gen's, GT sedans were auto only (like the BC GT sedans), and most had full leather interior etc.

As for the gen 1's. RS's were sedan only, and manual only. Auto sedans were GT's, and wagons were GT's, but available in auto or manual. That's pretty much as much as i know.

("Know", as in, "have yet to be proven wrong", that could easily happen though)

There was a gen.1 RS wagon for the Aussie market at least, I have the ad in an old Wheels mag somewhere. Don't know about the NZ or JDM models though.

I see, odd. Reminds me or the US having GT everything. GT BD, GT BE, GT BL. No B4's, no RS's. Though their 2.5L Impreza's are called RS's.

The aussies have always been a bit different though, remember its not even a Legacy over there its a Liberty. :-\

:D I think the US Legacy GT is a 2.5 NA SOHC too, poor buggers. They still put bonnet ('hood') scoops on them though! Don't think they got an STi Impreza until about 2005 either.

      Afternoon team,
im new to the group first time posting. Im hoping some body can help me get my launch control all dialled in on my link g4x. Ive had the computer and car all tuned from chris at prestige awesome knowlegable guy super happy with the results but now im wanting to get my launch/anti lag all dialled in. Ive been reading multiple different forums etc all with different conflicking information which has made me nervious with what do i listen to this or that if you get what i mean. Now ive started to make myself familiar with my PClink software etc the past few weeks and im eager to learn how to do minor setups or tweaks etc so im not relieing on my tuner so much and obviously saving myself abit hurt in the back pocket.
Now back to the question at hand.... Im wondering if theres and one who could please share there knowledge and wisdom with setting all my values, timing, fuel etc when i have launch control armed and engaged, or even a launch tune file they can possibly send me to load onto my tune. Ive figured out the setup of my digital inputs turning launch control on etc and its obvisously on its pre set factory settings. It engages but doesnt sound the greatest or as angry as it should i feel. Hence reaching out to you good buggers.

Cheers in advance for any info and help yous maybe able to give me.

      Cheers Shaun
