I assume on my car ('99 SOHC EJ20) I'd use the PFR6G?

Is it true they are $25 from repco at trade price? Just trying to justify why I'm being quoted double that.

150k? Jeebus, it doesn't seem like such a bad investment - but I knew I could do better than that.

That was discounted too - was looking at about $250 for the set from Armstrong but got a bit taken off. I figure they are the same thing though - I like the guys but money is a factor for me.

Theres a new set of PFR6G on TM for $50 so I might grab those, I need to get a valve cover gasket set before I put them in anyway

The quoted life for Platinum plugs in a turbo Subaru is 50,000km (na is 100,000km). That is the Subaru quoted life expectancy.

I bought my last set for $25 each from Repco. I can't remember how much Subaru wanted for them.

platnum and iridium are way too over rated...they only last longer... best for conductability is ngk copper bcprs and i got 4 for 20 bux at ripco

cold for a non turbo tho...they will work fine tho...less chance of pinking on a hot day...5s will burn hotter (oviously ...dur haha) therewfore theory says a 5 will make more power/drivability but more chance of pink

I got that set delivered - though I just put in a set of coppers as suggested by the factory manual for the car.

Only problem with the platinums is that the gap is wrong according to everything I've seen - though the car had a set of the same ones in there already - the car should be using 1-1.1mm gap.

If you have problems with a 6 in a standard N/A you have more problems to worry about. The heat range doesnt make any more power just less chance of fouling at low loads. Iv run Bkr7es in my N/A legacy for the past 10,000kms and havnt fouled them once, I ONLY run the 7s because I had a spair new set from my race car when I went to 8's.

      Afternoon team,
im new to the group first time posting. Im hoping some body can help me get my launch control all dialled in on my link g4x. Ive had the computer and car all tuned from chris at prestige awesome knowlegable guy super happy with the results but now im wanting to get my launch/anti lag all dialled in. Ive been reading multiple different forums etc all with different conflicking information which has made me nervious with what do i listen to this or that if you get what i mean. Now ive started to make myself familiar with my PClink software etc the past few weeks and im eager to learn how to do minor setups or tweaks etc so im not relieing on my tuner so much and obviously saving myself abit hurt in the back pocket.
Now back to the question at hand.... Im wondering if theres and one who could please share there knowledge and wisdom with setting all my values, timing, fuel etc when i have launch control armed and engaged, or even a launch tune file they can possibly send me to load onto my tune. Ive figured out the setup of my digital inputs turning launch control on etc and its obvisously on its pre set factory settings. It engages but doesnt sound the greatest or as angry as it should i feel. Hence reaching out to you good buggers.

Cheers in advance for any info and help yous maybe able to give me.

      Cheers Shaun
