prismatek (sp) looks best over a black base imo, if done over a light base it looks like the car has a even coating of sand over the whole thing when its not in the sun.

good to see youve done it properly aswell, seen a couple cars done where its been put it the clear, makes the finish look like a bit of sparkly sand paper hahaha

what paint system are you using? ppg, dupont etc etc?

this flake looks Crap on light colors, as its quite a heavy/chunky flake , and it will come through the clear if not put on right, best way we have found is to do your base color as per normal 3 coats of black, then mix the hologram flake with a clear base paint, apply as even as possible, Then we put on 3-4 coats of clear letting it tack off between coats to avoid runs. if its just mixed in with the clear you can see/feel the flake out the paint and that just looks s***house. and as you can see by pics the flake is well covered with the clear, And thats without buffing, The way i have decide to go with is painting the bonnet, front guards,Bumper With flake then blending it out just before the front doors as from the front doors back will be pearl black.

Oh and we use Ppg :D

Well done that looks real smooth, some peps won't like the whole sparkly thing but if you Are into it then go a head, always good to see some thing different floating around every now and then. I Agree when you see one of these jobs done badly ie: ethier not smooth or to much flake it can look over bearing but yours looks really good, can't wait till you have done the rear of your car as a pearl black is something I was thinking of doing after all the dents are taken out.

      Afternoon team,
im new to the group first time posting. Im hoping some body can help me get my launch control all dialled in on my link g4x. Ive had the computer and car all tuned from chris at prestige awesome knowlegable guy super happy with the results but now im wanting to get my launch/anti lag all dialled in. Ive been reading multiple different forums etc all with different conflicking information which has made me nervious with what do i listen to this or that if you get what i mean. Now ive started to make myself familiar with my PClink software etc the past few weeks and im eager to learn how to do minor setups or tweaks etc so im not relieing on my tuner so much and obviously saving myself abit hurt in the back pocket.
Now back to the question at hand.... Im wondering if theres and one who could please share there knowledge and wisdom with setting all my values, timing, fuel etc when i have launch control armed and engaged, or even a launch tune file they can possibly send me to load onto my tune. Ive figured out the setup of my digital inputs turning launch control on etc and its obvisously on its pre set factory settings. It engages but doesnt sound the greatest or as angry as it should i feel. Hence reaching out to you good buggers.

Cheers in advance for any info and help yous maybe able to give me.

      Cheers Shaun
