wrx sounds

I have been contacted from someone making a movie, well doing the sound effects for one, he is needing to reccord some sounds from someones car, loud zaust and bov are a must, single turbo, twin scroll would be good however thats pushing it i think. He will give ya gas money and a copy of the movie when it is made e.t.c

needs to be this weekend to.

i have the guys number, anyone keen get hold of me or we could make a meet of it, he also needs the sound of a few subys driving past.

 

Hi there

I was hoping that someone in you club might be able to help me out. I

need to record some car sound effects with a WRX pref about an 03, with

the bigger the exhaust the better. Its for a forth coming film but the

prod company hasn't given me a budget so whatever it costs comes out of

my pocket.

It shouldnt take too long and there's no crazy driving involved. Hoping

that someone in ChCh can help me out for a few beers, some petrol and a

copy of whatever we record for posterity

yea the 03 is just the twinscroll and avcs makes a slightly different note, most people watching a movie woldnt pick up the difference though

I did this with Chris this afternoon , quite an intense process really , shitloads of repeating the same driving sequences over and over.

mines got a set of headers on it and exhaust done too and seriously as ashamed as i am to say it it sounds like a corolla with a big bore .. :-[

not entirely sure most of it is heat wrapped but i did see a tag on it some place when i was doing the clutch last weekend .

sims or syms racing products or something like that by memory

My old v3 sti had equal length headers, then it got stolen :-\

I much perfer the rumble of my v4 with the standard headers!
