id rather keep my 2 legs and 1 arm lol..

gonna buy a volt metre and see if the alternator is putting out the 14v+ and if it is then i really dont know..

i havnt changed anything else apart from , battery, power steer pump, alternator.

would the sporty steering button not working have anything to do with this?

is there a computer that controlls that? maybe its shorted out or something?

who knows about the "sporty steering"? note: it hasnt been working since before i got the car and iv done about 4000km since owning the car.

How do you mean the pulley almost stops when to tight, which pulley ??

run new earthing cables from battery to bolt on alternator(the big Swing one) then from there to the opposite sides strut tower.

Check alternator is charging

check battery ( or get it checked as jsut seeing if it has 12 v in it is not enough)

Why is the sporty steering button not working figure this out as well

You are obviously in over your head, I would get some one who Knows more than you do to have a look at it

the power steer pulley slows right down when turning the wheel.

have charged up the old battery on full charge. still does the same.

purchased new battery and still no change.

i'm not sure, it never worked since before i purchased the car. the light does not come on when you push the button.

battery drains while driving...

its hard to explain.. its fine for about 15 minutes or so then it starts losing power when indicating / stereo etc...

alternator was from car wrecker. pump from wrecker as well.

will check the voltage on the alternator when i get a multimeter and see how it is.

the original power steer pump started screaming its guts out a month ago and i replaced it and had no issues until this electrical thing came up. ( ps was same issue last time when the pump dies minus the screaming noise )

from a bit of googling iv found it could be a) stuffed alternator or b) the wires may be frayed in the lead.

ill test the alternator to see what volts its charging at. hopefully thats the issue.

if not the bloody things up for sale haha

should be 14v or just over bud

if its the brushes in the alt u can put the volt meter on and try a good tap on the body of the alt with the handle of a screwdriver and watch if the volts jump up to 14 (if the brushed are too far gone this wont wrk.. sumthing to try)

hmmm...

if the alternator was completely screwed wouldnt it be showing a much lower voltage?

or is 12.4v already too much of a lower voltage

      Afternoon team,
      im new to the group first time posting. Im hoping some body can help me get my launch control all dialled in on my link g4x. Ive had the computer and car all tuned from chris at prestige awesome knowlegable guy super happy with the results but now im wanting to get my launch/anti lag all dialled in. Ive been reading multiple different forums etc all with different conflicking information which has made me nervious with what do i listen to this or that if you get what i mean. Now ive started to make myself familiar with my PClink software etc the past few weeks and im eager to learn how to do minor setups or tweaks etc so im not relieing on my tuner so much and obviously saving myself abit hurt in the back pocket. 
      Now back to the question at hand.... Im wondering if theres and one who could please share there knowledge and wisdom with setting all my values, timing, fuel etc when i have launch control armed and engaged, or even a launch tune file they can possibly send me to load onto my tune. Ive figured out the setup of my digital inputs turning launch control on etc and its obvisously on its pre set factory settings. It engages but doesnt sound the greatest or as angry as it should i feel. Hence reaching out to you good buggers.
