Cost of lowering?

Hey guys. Curious to find out if anyone can give me a ballpark cost to lower our '01 Blitzen. We've had it a while and just recently I've grown sick of seeing it sit what i now consider high on standard springs. I only want to lower it maybe 25 to 30mm so that the wheels look like they're filling out the wheel well bit better. Thanks for any help.

$30 for a grinder from the warehouse...lolol

but just for springs id say ~$350-400 fitted.

if you are fairly hands on, and willing to take a crack at it, a set of second hand lowering springs, some spring compressers and a sunny saturday / sunday, you could diy the job and get it done for less than 200.

350-400 isn't near as much as i thought it mght cost. Would it need certified and if so how much for that?

Wheel algnments are overrated, who doesn't love letting the wheel go and having the car pull wildly off the road ??? ;D another bonus is you get one super huge forearm so when you walk around town people think you drive a honda and jerk off excessively

When u ask for quote ask if theyll fit them and at what cost...(some might fit for free if ur paying retail prices)

STi springs FTW. I thought blitzens had them as stock but i guess not. Are your springs pink or black?

I dont have any problems... Mind you, Rangoon's main street pedestrian humps and the Warehouse entrance is scrape action for me...

Just had a look at the springs. They're black. On the first part of the coil/spring there's 2 painted spots each about the width of a 50cent coin, one yellow and the other pink.

Biltzens have different setup bilsteins and springs are still an unknown. (unless somone willing to go get them tested)

I used RS*R springs on my '01 blitzen, perfect fit. (i also had shocks rebuilt) was $200 off TM. install them myself and $50 wheel alignment.

Yeah whats with all the paint dots

Must be done at the factory.

Did you manage to find out a price? I am looking at lowering mine too, but keep forgetting to go and ask.

The dots are markings use to ID the correct springs to be installed on the production line.

I did some research years ago and found a topic on NASIOC where people tried to catalog the springs markings to car models.

What they found is that there isnt much consistency with the markings. They more likey the Spring makers own ID system than a Subaru "spring rate ID"
