who can offer cheap frieght from auckland to dunedin ive purchased a set of extractors off trade me ive rung up a couple of courier places and quotes seem a bit expensive to me so if any one can help out that would be awesome

failing finding a member(s) on here that is doing the drive, try a freight company like mainfreight etc, probably cheaper than a courier due to awkward shape/size

www.bascik.co.nz have been pretty good for me and the cheapest did my motor from Akld-Dunners $250, and any quotes ive got they were always been the cheapest ;D

I've found post shop to be pretty good tbh. I've sent engine blocks from Rotorua to Christchurch for less than $40.

I'm sure there must me less wieght in a set of extractors. If they are too big measurement wise then sent them in two parcels.

I have alot of parts go to and from chch through multiple different companies. Most parts come to me through New Zealand post (post shop) and I have to say I'm unimpressed by their service. Items generally come a few days late, the tracking tool is unreliable and customer service are never hugely helpful.

I would say when choosing who to go for it totally depends what you want. New Zealand Couriers is great for on time delivery and priced similar to NZPost, Mainfreight is really good on pricing and their tracking tool is miles ahead of anyone else.

on the topic of couriers

i absolutely hate courier post.. useless

so i buy a hks blow off valve...they throw it over my fence and the box gets all mashed

same as a thermostat...bent as they threw it over the fence..also a flat mate brought an I phone.. guess what thrown over the fence and cracked...

nope wasnt home at the time..

fastway couriers leave a note in the mail box and i colect it from the depot..

no problem there as im happy cos the stuff isnt damaged and covered in mud

Man that's really unlucky Guess I'm lucky that there's no fence for the guys to throw items over. But for me they sometime leave a note, sometimes not. Which is both good and bad. But that was when I lived down a long drive.

I thought so with Track N Trace, which is what I always ask for as I can track it. When it's delivered I'm meant to sign for it too.

Still, whenever I'm home to get it, the guys are generally always friendly.
