Name that switch

anyone know what the left of the 3 switches are? sorry i should have had the flash on my phone off

I could well be wrong but I think it allows you to adjust your HIDs up and down, so you don't blind every other driver, handy if you are carrying some weight

Not the knob, the switch beside it. And it's not the demister, the demister is on the centre console

is that the heated front windscreen so the wipers dnt stick in a frost?

My legacy has that switch and all it does is make a relay in the approximate area of the passenger door ( ??? ) go spastic. But I was assuming that that was what it is intended to do

when they replace windscreens here they dont refit it, useless buggers

it used to be down by the handbreak on older models. mine in my bh made the wing mirrors defrost. was premo

it took me a fn long time to work it out

You could always leave your car out overnight in a frost, ONLY turn that switch on and come back in 2min to see if there is any difference?

that is for the front windsreen - YES front, it helps de-ice your windscreen wipers.

On BH leggies it also does the mirrors (well mine it does)

Hmmm think I'll just stick to the hose, drive to work only takes 4 - 5 mins haha.

just remember to keep the hose under cover cos if it freezes in side you'll get lots of baby hoe's
