Unpopular opinion Marky says a 6 cyl legacy is as much a performance car as a camry or diamante is

Unless it is a force-fed 6 cyl one then thats ok

Best advice is shop around heeeeaps, have seen very similar manual turbo sedans going from 9k right up to 15k with near identical kms and age

Or you could buy mine, with a fresh engine rebuild, gt-b spec and some nice mods, new 19inch mags and tyres, and slightly lowered too. Drives mint and looks nice too.

That\'s pretty nice. Not keen on anything lowered though with Christchurch "roads" being the state they are. Half thinking about an Outback just to get a little more comfort.

manual, tiptronic, doesn\'t really matter when its a gtb family wagon, end of the day if your buying a family wagon you want it to be practical with the performance, so if your buying a family wagon for just performance then you may as well buy a STI, not a gtb.

Matters to me and the missus its kind of like saying you dont need to have your choice in colour its only a family wagon. Shouldnt have to sacrifice having a manual box to have a family car unless its euro imo. As for performance - I have a family wagon that performs that isnt an sti. :P

and i have a performance car that isn\'t STI also, but if you want a wagon for cruising then who cares if its manual or auto, as its just for cruising, ive owned many performance cars, and yes if i am purely looking for performance and using on track etc id go manual every time.

But if i want something for open road driving and going to the beach etc with good performance id go auto/tiptronic everytime.

But each to there own, you enjoy your MANUAL performance family wagon and ill enjoy mine. haha

It wasnt a personal attack on your preference it was more of a bugger its manual as I seriously like the look of it and could definitely see myself owning it if it was manual and missus said the exact same thing. Regardless of my opinion its noice and a good deal not arguing. Geddit now?

Yeah all good, like i said each to there own.

Ive already got plenty of interest in it, and only had it listed for a week so it will be sold regardless.

I use to be like you and would only ever drive manuals, And like yourself would always be like.... ohhh dam its a auto, but then when i got my first auto subaru wagon back in the day and used it as my daily i liked them more than manuals for day to day driving as i could just relax and drive to work etc, i mean have you tried eating a pie in a manual? much easier in a auto! haha

But all good, thanks for your comment.

I have had 2 bpe wagons, first was auto and I sold it to get a manual as I can\'t stand autos, bet thing I ever did. That\'s my opinion.

Hes right, if i had the money the other week i would be driving a manual h6 wagon, but at the moment i still have my auto until then

      Afternoon team,
im new to the group first time posting. Im hoping some body can help me get my launch control all dialled in on my link g4x. Ive had the computer and car all tuned from chris at prestige awesome knowlegable guy super happy with the results but now im wanting to get my launch/anti lag all dialled in. Ive been reading multiple different forums etc all with different conflicking information which has made me nervious with what do i listen to this or that if you get what i mean. Now ive started to make myself familiar with my PClink software etc the past few weeks and im eager to learn how to do minor setups or tweaks etc so im not relieing on my tuner so much and obviously saving myself abit hurt in the back pocket.
Now back to the question at hand.... Im wondering if theres and one who could please share there knowledge and wisdom with setting all my values, timing, fuel etc when i have launch control armed and engaged, or even a launch tune file they can possibly send me to load onto my tune. Ive figured out the setup of my digital inputs turning launch control on etc and its obvisously on its pre set factory settings. It engages but doesnt sound the greatest or as angry as it should i feel. Hence reaching out to you good buggers.

Cheers in advance for any info and help yous maybe able to give me.

      Cheers Shaun
