standard Fuel regulators

Does anyone have any information on factory fuel regulators? Particularly the non turbo ones that house red injectors? I was planning on using 2x non turbo fuel rails in my split rails setup but someone has mentioned I need to use turbo rails as the flow rates(on regulators) are different?

Any ideas on this one?

non turbos dont require rising rate regulators . weather they change them im unsure.

factory rails are fine unless your looking for quite large power .

youll need turbo regulators unless subaru just put rising rate ones in everything. I find it hard to believe they made different size rails and that would be an uneconomical move by subaru.

Lol yep all pressure regulators with a vacuum source are rising rate it\'s just how they work

Yes 1:1 obviously but still rising rate

lol so the rate doesnt rise ?

( now ill stop being sarcastic )

so its not rising rate .

applying boost to a reg does not make it "rising rate "

rising rate is one that fuel pressure goes up more than boost does . eg a 2:1 reg will give u 2 more psi fuel pressure for 1 psi boost pressure . or 4:1 12:1 etc . they are maunly usefull for cheating at systems of adding turbos to non turbo engines to get more fuel in under boost but stock fuel for vacuum parts of the map

2 na regs will work fine . if they can remove a bar from fuel pressure when given a bar of vacuum vacuum then they can add a bar to fuel pressure when given a bar of pressure

I know, but 1:1 the pressure still rises

Hence the name

but technically you are wrong, its rate rises, not that it has a rising rate ;)

So to clarify what Lachlan was saying is: "the rate rising, and rising rate are not the same thing".

in this context we are talking about a regulator which rate rises 1:1 with boost.

its not grammar nazis . its noobs that dont know there is a standard fuel pressure reg which will take vac or boost .

then entirely seperate there is a rising rate regulator

of course the na one has a vac reference . i dont know what some of you think the purpose of a reg is

its to maintain the differential pressure across the injector . so when the manifold is + or - a bar of pressure the fuel mimics this so the injector is working at its design pressure .

if u had no vac on the reg under full vacuum the effective fuel pressure would be 3 bar + 1 bar vacuum so 4 bar fuel pressure = overfueling

      Afternoon team,
im new to the group first time posting. Im hoping some body can help me get my launch control all dialled in on my link g4x. Ive had the computer and car all tuned from chris at prestige awesome knowlegable guy super happy with the results but now im wanting to get my launch/anti lag all dialled in. Ive been reading multiple different forums etc all with different conflicking information which has made me nervious with what do i listen to this or that if you get what i mean. Now ive started to make myself familiar with my PClink software etc the past few weeks and im eager to learn how to do minor setups or tweaks etc so im not relieing on my tuner so much and obviously saving myself abit hurt in the back pocket.
Now back to the question at hand.... Im wondering if theres and one who could please share there knowledge and wisdom with setting all my values, timing, fuel etc when i have launch control armed and engaged, or even a launch tune file they can possibly send me to load onto my tune. Ive figured out the setup of my digital inputs turning launch control on etc and its obvisously on its pre set factory settings. It engages but doesnt sound the greatest or as angry as it should i feel. Hence reaching out to you good buggers.

Cheers in advance for any info and help yous maybe able to give me.

      Cheers Shaun
