Trying to do some research on the tribeca options for BE. I'll let you know what I find.

I know it fits 4th gen NA models and I also know it does NOT fit 4th gen turbo models. Tribeca rear is not that much thicker, if at all.

Wait for Rosspedia, he'll definitely clarify the situation ;)

Forester = wrx / sti with subframe spacers. Thats it in a nutshell :-) anything of the same era sti fits a forester. Even the new shape stuff.

So, sf and sg foresters (1996 iirc - 2008) are swappable with the sti bits up till the end of the v8 sti era (v9 sti had different hubs but the wrx stuff still works)

Awesome, so straight bolt-ons, same endlinks?

Dunno the numbers, all I know is I want a heavy duty sway bar (rear) for a BE5B that isn't going to cost me a fortune. I see CUSCO do a reasonably priced one and I think ZEROSPORTS do as well. As long as it's a jump from my 18mm rear. What do the people want/think?

So it seems to be that the tribeca front sway bar will fit the 3rd gen legacy with different end links. However there could be various fitment issues so proceed with caution. If you are running wide tires at certain offsets they could potentially rub at full lock, also depending on ride height when the suspension is fully unsprung the bar could rub on turbo cross member. Take this information with a grain of salt however because most of its just off forums.

The Bar is almost cheap enough for me to warrant purchasing one and just giving installing it a go and seeing how the fitment is.

NASIOC had this:
