what you have there is a 1998-2000 legacy EJ208 twin turbo ECU

NOT WRX OR STI

you can find this by searching the part number "22611ad983"

and i confirmed this by a parts catalogue search

Thankyou very much for confirming that, i brought it through a guy on CS so i will be chatting to him.

If i find another one can i rely on you to check the numbers against your catalogue?

Cheers

Gary

That's very interesting, and you say you've had the car running on it after converting to single turbo? i'm just wondering how the fuel pump relay would work if that's the case...

If it is indeed a TT ecu, then that would explain the 10-12 psi... I should imagine it'd be throwing code 66 or whatever it is on OBD-II

Hmm, me too! maybe its a STI board inserted into an old ECU box?

Hey, it was from me, and is definately a v5 sti ecu in my old twin turbo case. Thought I would be nice and leave it in a case for you sorry about the confusion, but it ran perfectly single turbo for me I ran a gfb boost tap so can't comment on boost. I was too lazy to hook up the factory boost solenoid.

hey, thanks for clearing that up, yea i think i now recall you saying that you were going to do that, sorry to start throwing accusations around like that, but at least that is one thing to write off the list in the process of elimination.

Have you still go the factory boost solenoid? if so, is it a two or three port?

Cheers

Dudes, get yourselves a cable so you can connect to a laptop. Then you can read the exact specs of whatever board is in there right down to the revision number of the software. You can tell what car, what year, what market, what version software.

how did you confirm the ecu?

ecu numbers i mentioned before are only JDM. is this a NZDM ecu?

I took the guys word for it, he is a CS member and heaps of ppl vouched for him too.

If its NZ will it only be 10-12 PSI?

EDIT - it is a STI V5 board in a TT case

Hey,

So now that i knw it IS an STI ECU, it shud be boostin around 1 bar but its only 10-12 PSI, would the fact that i am running a 2 port wastegate noid when its meant to be a three port effect the boost pressure?

Cheers

If you have the wrong solenoid on it, the duty cycle will be wrong and it won't hold at the desired boost level as the 2-port and the 3-port are set up completely differently.

      Afternoon team,
im new to the group first time posting. Im hoping some body can help me get my launch control all dialled in on my link g4x. Ive had the computer and car all tuned from chris at prestige awesome knowlegable guy super happy with the results but now im wanting to get my launch/anti lag all dialled in. Ive been reading multiple different forums etc all with different conflicking information which has made me nervious with what do i listen to this or that if you get what i mean. Now ive started to make myself familiar with my PClink software etc the past few weeks and im eager to learn how to do minor setups or tweaks etc so im not relieing on my tuner so much and obviously saving myself abit hurt in the back pocket.
Now back to the question at hand.... Im wondering if theres and one who could please share there knowledge and wisdom with setting all my values, timing, fuel etc when i have launch control armed and engaged, or even a launch tune file they can possibly send me to load onto my tune. Ive figured out the setup of my digital inputs turning launch control on etc and its obvisously on its pre set factory settings. It engages but doesnt sound the greatest or as angry as it should i feel. Hence reaching out to you good buggers.

Cheers in advance for any info and help yous maybe able to give me.

      Cheers Shaun
