I hate having money, my bank account, wallet whatever its all gotta go so had to get a Subi lol.

Seriously just loved watching the WRC cars, had to have a subi, had to have a WRX. Kinda forgot my fetish for a bit and was all set to buy a Mazda 323 wagon one day when I drove past my first WRX and I handed over the cash 24 hours later.

Dont regret it, not for a second.

always loved the bc5, from the day i saw mcrae throwing the beast around at the rally of NZ, i knew i was gonna get one. i love performance cars, and rally cars use everyday roads, so have always been more fond of them, as somewhere in the back of my mind they have always been a more "real" option, and subaru is always my first, very biased, choice.

i love the sound, love the availability of parts and that the engine is so different from anything else out there.

plus, whenever i play the"if i won lotto" game, i would have a very large garage, the rally type cars would be the order of the day, and subies would rule the roost.

well i got my subbie cause the car yard i went to, i asked to look at turbo 4wd cars and they only happened to have a couple of wrxs, took one for a test drive and bought it on return to the yard, never looked back although it has cost a small fortune.

also i had always wanted a turbo subaru one day just never thought i'd be able to afford one.

I used to work at a service station and just fell in love with the subaru sound and being from matamata i'd heard enough tractors so didn't want an evo.

Had a 93 last of the single turbo legacy's before the old man wanted to sell his wrx and my legacy had blown it beb 6months early so i sound the cyborg i had got a loan and bought my old mans car.

As they say the rest is history.

i bought subs for the sound! like everyone else did, and why do i have a legacy, basically after turning my mint wrx into a crumpled tin can the insurance money i had left over wasnt all that great and i still wanted a turbo and i found this tt pos that i have it runs well enough i guess, all in al the rumble of a sub cruising down lumbo when i was a teen got me going and since then ive owed em bc5-my00-bd5(FAIL)

A mate up the road has had Impreza's since his second car, loved the sound. Then went on a roadtrip to Whangamata in another mates car (1997 GTB) and fell inlove with the power!

Sold my 1500cc auto pulsar "GTiR" ;D and went in search of a GTB... Drove one and didnt like it (it was auto too) then dad pointed to the Forester next to it, drove it, fell in love, Didn't want to pay $8500 for it though so went in search of a cheaper one. While searching I was driven insane by having to borrow mum's 2000 Ford Mondeo (which my brother and I couldnt kill no matter how hard we tried), so when my car popped up on trademe NZ new for $5000 I grabbed it...
