I Care, there is already a massive double standard...i read somewhere that if police get caught drunk driving only 25% get convicted vs 92% of the public...yeah thats fair.

**disclaimer not 100% sure on the figures but it was a massive descrepancy.

There's possibly also an exception to the cellphone rule for Police Officers who are on duty. Have a faint memory of something like that being mentioned.

i guess they will train them to concerntrate on the raod and talk on the cell ph, as taht way it wont be a distraction. shame i been texting and driving for 10 years but i doubt they will take taht into account if i get caught,.

umm, for all of you "dont cares" well why do you keep posting then? i care, and so will you guys when you get pulled over for it!!! they are supposed to lead by example, dont you think its a bit hypocritical if they break the law then pull someone over for breaking the same law??? i guess this boils down to another "who polices the police???"

or do a U_TURN on a State Highway when they want (also illegal for mere civilians) to apprehend law breakers

or DETAIN suspects against their will
