SUBARU's are unique in that its harder to get ets raw power out.

Where as evo's come by a dime a dozen and cheap and easy to get power out of.

As far as clever engineering goes - i think Subaru wins easily. As for which car id rather drive to work - Subaru is still winning. But when it comes to which one id rather blast around a track - ill take an evo please

Hmm from what I've heard its kind of like the legacy vs wrx debate. One is better for the road, the other on the track.

I have also heard the BEB are easily replaced on an evo but I'm not sure?

I personally like the boxer engine and the subaru look better (god the evo spoiler is ugly) but at the end of the day if I had the money I would probably go evo. All the rumors of BEB failures etc has just made me think every time I hop in my car that it could be the last.

Of course most if not all people are going to say Subaru, it's a Subaru forum. That's like asking if we like cars or not. ???

I personally don't like Mitsis because the ones I've been in, and had in the family, have been too cramped and uncomfortable for my liking - but my Subarus have all been more comfy, and easier to be with in general.

Not to mention the boxer rumble is something else!

look at your bang for your buck

u go and buy a evo1 (approx 1993 it think) and then buy a WRX of the same year I know which one would be cheaper,now with the left over cash from buying the WRX u can build up a car to your spec (track/rally/road/rice) to a car that would be close to the EVO and well still have a subby

Each have their positives and negatives, not one or the other is directly bettter. As said on top gear, they'd choose the evo as a track car and the wrx as a road car.... It's a very individual taste tbh.

That ones pretty self explanitory if you look at any coverage of a drag meet and see the amount of EVO's in the 10's compared to the amount of Subaru's.

lol, if it was a 4wd model i'd already be scoping out the bits... but after owing a b16a turbo....fwd just doesnt do it for me.....

(altho that said im quite keen to see how hard it would be able to put a evo rear subframe in...am over driving the boat...hahaha)
