How much does it cost to replace a cambelt on a B4 RSK please?

I have been quoted about $900.00 which includes standard service as well......but I;ve heard some places charge much more $

Been given different quotes ranging from 750 to 1000+ (including some or all of the service) Pays to check with a few different mechanics.

I payed $1050 for the lot when i bought my RS, but he cuts my labour costs a bit for me soooo.... prob wuda cost about 1150-1200?

Damn I was $950 and that was thru subaru dealer, which are usually more expensive then most places. Which was also the lot.

Crikey.. I paid $630 for the last cambelt, idler, tensioner + water pump from the local mechanic.

Mine was about $1100 for the lot.

Idlers, tensioners, front crank seal, waterpump, o-ring etc.

Its worth getting it all done cos you don't want to have to open it up again to fix an oil leak!!! My WRX had just the belt done, and it leaked more oil than a '72 jag.

im sure there is heaps of people on the forum that would do it cheap... i have also a couple of friends that are mechanics that i am sure will be willing for some extra cash.

im about to do a twin turbo bg5 and just bort all the parts eg waterpump seals idlers tensioners auto gas tensioner and belt plus new alt and p/s belt for 450 and id do it 4 600 all up.

450 wouldnt even get you all the parts required....

i can get all parts required... belt, auto tensioner, cam and crank seals idlers and waza pump for 550 from repco ad thats like cost plus 20 to them! so anyone who can do it 4 450 id be watching them do it... haha theres atleast 3 hours in a cambelt seals and waterpump.

I got mine done a manukau subaroo specialist and was quoted $950 but ended up being $900.

Paid 'bout 1200...that was cambelt, waterpump, idlers, tensioners, hydraulic tensioner...also had all the accessory belts done at the same time and seals checked as well....

Was neither of them. It was the actual subaru dealer. They quoted me $450 for cambelt and tensioners and labour
