Legacies with the tinted speedo will have the rev D engine. No tinted speedo = not likely to have rev d engine (Subaru has been known to create bastard childs before though).

I wouldn't pay any more than $8k tops for the black one.

Wagons are cooler and it has good k's, but gold?

Cool, yea I was thinking around the 8K mark on the black one, but they are really keen on the 9.5K which I can tell you I wont be paying for it.

Wagons are cool if they are done right and the gold one looks cool, id change the mags tho to stndard color ones or maybe even more GOLD! I dont mind the gold to be honest.

That newer wagon you posted is cool but too many $$$ for really what I want to spend on a car for a year or 2 for a bit of fun to throw around the roads and use as as runa bout

get second hand turbo yeah still keen intercooler can be off in 10-15 mins

Hey guys, got the dude to meet me in Waihi this morn, the wagon is pretty cool, I really like it.

Really tidy, no problems evident, cleaner than the black B4. Plus all black leather seats and SUNROOFS!

Its getting checked out in morn but if its all good and comes through clean then the Gold GTB it is!

Its had all its water pump and cambelt done etc, kms are low, only 112,000, low owners, no debt attached, freshly serviced, turbo timer, boost gauge, only missing exhaust and a few other little things Ill add.

QUESTIONS:

Its just got a standard exhaust.

I want that subaru sound. HOW DO I GET IT?

Whats the deal with tints? Are you able in station wagons to get tints over the rear window tints?

What about pipe sizes etc? It does not have any cats or resonators, just standard pipe to the muffler but its whisper quiet as standard things are.

doesnt matter really, most the muffling happens at the rear, if you jsut want the sounds just replace that one rear muffler, if you want performance...different ballgame.

Just want the sounds pretty much, want the subaru sound and the BOV sound really ( I never had a boy racer era so Im going to live it now lol)

Also, anyone know the laws regarding windown tints here on station wagons behind the front doors? Can you only go to 35% or can it go darker? On my 4x4's you could go as dark as you liked behind the drivers doors but obviously the 35% on the fronts.

So replace the rear muff you say with something less restrictive? what about increase pipe diameter throughout?

yea nt to shore on the tints but even if u stick with standerd size nd just put a big bore on the end it gives you the nice rumble your after thats all ive done nd it sounds nice
