I clicked on home did I break the interwebs?

It doesn't look like a wiki page that i'm used to, with the white layout and info on the left hand side, but good work anyway!

Yeah... Some stuff will break, nothing is up yet! We've literally just installed the software then MercuryFree lit slip . It WILL be skinned and redesigned to sexytimes soon enough

I signed up about 8am this morning. Took a few minutes to get the account activation. I'm so impatient I figured it wasn't coming and went and clicked the "I didn't get the account activation mail" link. By the time I checked my mail account a few minutes later I had two.

The left hand bar actually exists but is essentially the same as the top bar. Managed to disable it for everyone except 'admin' accounts as it's kind of shite. Will redo one at one stage to allow navigation between various 'sections' that don't exist yet, but all the options you need at present are in the top bar anyway.

You can create a new page in the same way that a page is linked to, by enclosing it in (( and )) on a refering page. In this case go to this page and edit "Subaru Leone Gen1/Gen2/Gen3/Omega" to say "((Subaru Leone))" and then submit the change. The page will now have Subaru Leone with a little question mark next to it. Hit the question mark and it opens up the edit screen for the new page. Once you save anything in that new page, the page is created

Have enabled the File Gallery / Upload menu just for you Top right hand corner of the screen, File Galleries -> Upload file

Is there a size limit on pdf's? (or any file for that matter).

As I have alot of pdf's that belong on the wiki but will have to check how big some of them are i.e. entire factory service manuals, scanned into pdf format.

16mb it tells me. But this is able to be changed to whatever we want if required. Just trying to get the file upload functionality working 100% atm

Did you end up changing that mysql setting? Browser still being crashed on uploading files here due to the limitation that that setting should fix

For a long time now, many of us moderators have lamented the fact that although there is a wealth of knowledge here, as well as on other sites we share the Subaru community with, there is very little if any organization to the info at hand. There is only so much we can do because mostly - this is a forum - a place to chat, not a database of info.

Tide at LegacyGT shares our concerns, and has come up with what I think is a pretty great idea - a wiki for Subarus! http://subiwiki.com/

He just started it, so it's mostly empty now, but with a concerted effort of Subaru owners, I think it could be a great reference of technical info for us all.

Have a new one with a few personal websites if you need to put it somewhere Rob
