thanks Roo. i was going to do that today upon reading the thread that i can use autosol the metal polish to that but that i remembered that i left it in the boot of the mrs\'s car! haha so called her and asked can she come home straight away after ;D

Brasso works better but any metal polish will still leave fine noticeable scratching and the clouding comes back very fast..

Your money is better spent on some Meguiar\'s Cleaner wax. Then you can do the whole car with it, Cleans up rubber trimmings as well as paint etc .

I do use Meguiars plastx but gives the same excellent results as Cleaner wax anyway so i wont be buying that again.

Run you hand over the light.. if its bumpy use a cutting compound first, if not then just use the cleaner wax..

will definitely try the meguiars then ;D is that the one being sold in repco that is suppose to clear cloudy headlight lenses? how long does it last? tried feeling it today.. its not rough but just cloudy
