Haha thanks, my thoughts too! Makes for a good sleeper at the same time , excpt for the plate lol but its just that a plate lol most don\'t even "live up" to the plate half the time anyway lol

wasn\'t a straight swap.you can trim the edges off the v7 scoop and make it fit but went a different route and cut the v7 mounting base off and plastic welded the scoop to my gc8 base to give it that factory look.you can actually order bolt on v7 sti scoops to fit gc8 from htautos.co.uk which is probably easier

How easy would it be to: cut the standard gc8 scoop off base - turn it around and plastic weld back on?

I want to reverse the scoop on mine when I go FMIC

it can be turned around but it\'s not perfect. Unless you use a litle bit of filler or something. I just want the standard scoop reversed.

Guy was talking kak to us at the auckland meet. I tried turning my scoop around the next day and no it dont work. Leaves a super big gap on passengers side. Didnt try it with the full plastic. Just the scoop

Can you chuck up some more photos of the scoop? Doesn\'t look overwhelmingly as big as a V8 schoop of a GC8

Just scoop iirc looked same as mine reversed. Meaning to steal a mates spare one to do it again. Only suits gf8 imo. Get another hatchy spence. :-P

Looking good mate, keen to see decent out side pic, was thinking of getting a fron lip as well just not sure how it would look with out the side skirts ect
