Sounds like air leak to me.. check the intake hoses haven't split.. the ones coming off the manifold and fuel reg are prone to splitting.. also you don't ''see a air leak'' you could however hear one if you have the right air, or you could grab a can of engine start and spray hoses etc to find the leak when engine is running as the engine start or 'ether in a can' will increase the idle when its sucked in

pretty much as only a bung afm or air leak giving wrong afm readings or o2 sensor can cause a lumpy hunting idle

Washer bottle... There acouple of intake hoses that run along side of the washer bottle and into the inner guard.. check them

yeh i connected all the vac hoses up,im 100% its aleak cause when you gear down.the idel goes low likes its guna stall

yeh dam just drove it.idel is crazy!

its almost not ideling.

car runs fine and boost fine.but just sitting in the b.k drive thru the ideling got crazy.

also im starting to smell coolent from that back canester by the radiater

im not 100% sure hw to test the afm.afm seems to be ok.ithink its more of a leak,but it is a possiblity.do you know the best way to test it?

unplug it : does it run better? if it does then thats faulty - if it doesnt then its not

nah as soon as you unplug the afm the cars just stalls

k here is some pics of the engine bay.

the nly things that were removed was the intake,battery,washer bottle.all hoses are hooked up correctly.

iv removed the intake again.and pulled it all aprt to check for leaks,but doesnt seem to be any

So as i understand it...It goes ok when driven?..Then after stopping and idling for a min or two the problem rough idle occurs?

Or is this rough idle there every time idle is required?

yeh drives fine and feels smoother with these new plugs.doesnt miss on boost or nething

but as soon and you gear down and stop idel goes crazy.

air leak? hunting is normally air leak or o2 signal

and its fine to regap plugs if you know what your doing.i would never trust the gap out of the box

i put same plugs in my car 3 weeks ago and they were regapped buy seller. i have the exact same thing happen to my car. more so when it is cold just sounds like it has a very small miss that makes the idle go up down slightly

i gaped them to 0.8

nah no leaks that i can see/here.

idel is just up and down..

could be compression low in one cylinder. Don't want to scare you but it could even be a head gasket.

I advise doing a compression test.

Check the basics. Go from there. Doesn't sound like electrical or vacuum related.

Have a shop in Papakura. Can check tomorrow.

yup no codes.and also no surge.just ideling like it has a big leak!
