Police officers are supposed to protect and serve; not arrest and kill.

I\'m all for do whats got to be done to protect Police but the guy they arrested wasnt resisting, he surrendered completely and obviously his Dog was agitated at the way he was being handled. Up until that point nothing wrong by Police in my books.

When the dog got out I could understand if the dog was shot in its first charge but the situation looked calmer as the guy spoke to his dog. Free him for a minute, let him put the dog back. Common sense I would think?

- Edit - Judging by his proximity to it all I am guessing he was arrested for not moving back as asked. Fair call, Lots of cops with Guns stay the hell away.

My guess is because he pulled up with music up load, got out with the music still up load and started videoing, which might of been interfering with what I\'m going to guess is a very delicate situation. I\'m not trying to defend the cops decisions either. Shooting the dog was OTT, but I guess they weren\'t expecting the dog to jump out of the car.
