Planning a transplant to closed deck, worked internals and worked cams, about to start next week. Problem is took my bros Holden R8 for a drive and he gets similar horses for normally aspirated.

I've got a mate who did it in a LH SS torana, its not a small job but anything can be done.

He used a megasquirt with pretty good sucess

You could probably get a custom bell housing made and keep it 4wd too.

If you want lots of low end torque and reasonable power in an NA, go for the EZ30R. Not the most common conversion, but at least you won't get every subaru owner on the planet turning their nose up at you. That and they've been known to make in the region of 500hp from 2500rpm once rebuilt for turbo use (conservative power figure, 700 and above have been done in rare occasions) :P

Want a V8? buy a holden/ford/yank muscle car. Lease it will have value and wont be a death trap to drive.

this :)

unless you want to die in your RWD V8 Subbie buy a car that is designed for that engine/drivetrain .

No the driver crashed and killed himself , any engine conversion like this is not necessarily unsafe. Its more about the driver than the car. You need to have respect for the animal your dealing with.

Just look at AC Cobras , I wouldnt call them unsafe but they are a big V8 in a small chassis designed for a much smaller powerplant.

No, I respect the rotary engine, tend to dislike mazda cars; due to design just being a bit ugly in my eyes, I just dislike nissans, have no problems with the cars, it's just the scene that seems to be following them around. that new culture of dipshittery that I don't particularly like.

QFT. The RB army seem to be a group of flat peakers that have complete disregard for the law, and the state of their cars.

Again, could be said for any group of motor orientated enthusiasts, but the RB seems to attract alot of dickheads.

RIP IT LIL JOHNNY!!

There is currently a B4 running a Sr20 in Aussie drift series.

My theory is if SR will fit, 1UZ will fit but if you think it can remain AWD, you are either dreaming or loaded and prepared to spend the amount of coin on conversion that could've bought the R8 you went in.

You want cool, different, and others to beat the crap out of you?

Put an EJ into said Holden instead.

      Afternoon team,
im new to the group first time posting. Im hoping some body can help me get my launch control all dialled in on my link g4x. Ive had the computer and car all tuned from chris at prestige awesome knowlegable guy super happy with the results but now im wanting to get my launch/anti lag all dialled in. Ive been reading multiple different forums etc all with different conflicking information which has made me nervious with what do i listen to this or that if you get what i mean. Now ive started to make myself familiar with my PClink software etc the past few weeks and im eager to learn how to do minor setups or tweaks etc so im not relieing on my tuner so much and obviously saving myself abit hurt in the back pocket.
Now back to the question at hand.... Im wondering if theres and one who could please share there knowledge and wisdom with setting all my values, timing, fuel etc when i have launch control armed and engaged, or even a launch tune file they can possibly send me to load onto my tune. Ive figured out the setup of my digital inputs turning launch control on etc and its obvisously on its pre set factory settings. It engages but doesnt sound the greatest or as angry as it should i feel. Hence reaching out to you good buggers.

Cheers in advance for any info and help yous maybe able to give me.

      Cheers Shaun
