wanker drunk drivers took out 2 of my cars

woke up to this on saturday at 1.30 am after hearing just a loud smash . no skidmarks or any attempt to brake.

i live on a corner and he went into the rear of the cressida in excess of 130kph , pushing that into my wagon which sent it around 12m ahead into the main street .

he was all of 20m away from a give way for the main road .

the guy that was driving did a runner leaving 4 other people in the car.

this person along with many others could really use some lead!

yea police were there asap and did there thing . the guy that ran was the brother of 2 others in the car .

almost a week an left 2 messages for police still not even a call . annoying as i need info or ill have to fork out the excess.

a call only takes 5 mins so its grinding my gears. need the $$ to fix the wagon as it was uninsured, or ill get a quote and take him to small claims court

You can make his life seriously s*** by getting a debt established by the court. Then you get a distress warrant, and bailiffs will go around to his house and take sh!t to sell to pay you. It's a wonderful thing, especially as you can claim standard costs for your time in getting him served.

Is the Cressida a write-off? Looks like it might be

good info thakyou very much . im going to let it play out and give him a chance to write his wrong before i go talk to my lawer

i knew the cressy would be a write off, got a call from aa today informing me it was indeed and $$ had been paid to me already ( minus the excess and premium because of lacking police report ) .

im really impressed with aa soooo good to deal with!

just annoyed i didn't have enough time to remove the upgraded brakes and the wheels before they toed it away.

the 4 pots would have gone good on the rs
