Look how many unpaid members buy and sell items without issue on a daily basis. If you only allow it to Paid members you will end up with the same 30 Parts and 6 cars being traded between 10-15 people.

We either accept the evils of internet buying and selling or work on the larger issue at hand of how to increase paid Member numbers therefore making the Paid members only buy and sell a viable option.

Lets not forget MOST buy and sell trades on here go off without a hitch. I myself have purchased and sold huge amounts of parts through here with no issue. I only buy from known posters and sell to anyone who will pay before I ship.

You can make it paid only forum.... A number of clubs in Aussie are like that.....

I\'ve seen post limits work... It cuts out most of the s***, no system will be perfect. Also, doesn\'t nztintin have like, 2k posts? Maybe signup date then? There\'s got to be something that works, banning members after they\'ve ripped people off is a pretty s*** way. OR alternatively, if you want access before you reach the post limit, then you can apply. Works for everyone.

As it is there is literally no protection for club members.

as said before post counts wont stop someone from shafting a sale, and clubsub cant be held responsable for someone elses actions, even though it is an easy option to!. even trade me has bad sales, if you do your homework a little. see where they post and what they have posted, make an infromed decision as to weather you yourself can trust that person enough to trade, if it dont feel or look right then dont trade, i am with johnnynz, if it went paid members only, it would end up being the same parts being moved from one shed to the other.

Trademe membership has been closed, perhaps banned? Feedback at 94.1% so I wonder if they\'ve done a stack of bad trades and skipped the country or something?

DO NOT DEAL with this person. Dealt with him a year ago and got ripped off thru trademe. Sold me a V7 sti gearbox and sent me a NA subaru impreza gearbox. Obviously a con artist that needs to be stopped so take time to report him to police.
