Car sounding like a tractor

This is the 4th time it has done this now, real hit and miss, and only does it sometimes when you least expect it. Was in at Armstrong\'s 2 weeks ago, had computer tests done on the car, and it came back showing that the 2nd cylinder is way down in compression. Has one of their test injectors in it at the moment, which was working fine up until tonight. Has this ever happend to anyone else? or know what could be causing it? as looking for as much help as possible, to try speed the process up

check plug on the injector or coil, sounds like its running on 3

Spoken to a few people and they think its electrical, which would be coils from what they have said

It sounds real cool, but drives like a sack of s**t

yup its on 3, had wee keeper clip on my coil snap, zippy tie fixes all

+1 check wiggle each plug, pull it off and push it back on firmly, sometimes they don\'t come all the way off and still fire but have a very weak spark.

yep...and they are intermittent when not sitting properly

have had this on a few cars and usually was coil either not fully in of the holding tab broken and not able to be secured correctly

or possibly a bung coil

appears to me that

a) if someone is telling you that cyl 2 is down on revs... RUN AWAY.. RUN AWAY really fast!

b) if you believe that cyl 2 could be down on revs then take it to some one who really knows about cars and stop trying to diagnose it over the internet...

is there any signs of engine oil in the engine harness connector on the drivers side of the engine bay (20 pin plug from memeory)

Armstrongs did the diagnostic test on it, I know basically nothing about cars, I just drive them

i had that with a injector not working but intermittently i don\'t know could be a sensor?
