Going to run a can of this through my BL5. I'm actually having trouble finding a vacuum line... The bl5 has a plastic looking intake manifold so looks different to the pics here.

Is the very small line going to the top of the factory BOV a vacuum line I can use? What about the large brake booster vacuum line?

the small vacuum line that goes to the BOV will do for Upper engine cleaner, that heads into the inlet manifold (well does in my car at lest

Someone do a video of it. A nice little "how to", with plenty of smoke at the end. ;D

Did a can this afternoon for the first time since ive owned the car. I know it says use ANY vacuum hose....but dont use the brake booster vac hose on a H6 as the whole contents end up in one cylinder and your motor hydrolocks.

Then you have to spend far too long removing the air filter housing and other pieces so you can remove the spark plug from the locked cylinder and drain the oily crap out of it.

I believe im the first person to Hydrolock a motor using the upper engine cleaner.

Anyways i got it done properly in the end using the crankcase breather line. Smoked quite a lot. Car seems to run at least as good afterwards

No you're not. I've done it at least twice at work.

In manuals, stick it in 3rd and push the car back a few metres. It all drains out the open exhaust valve.

i just did it in front of my garage. the smoke clears pretty quickly.... just dont open the garage and walk straight into it after you have done the clean, without airing the garage out.

The fun part was giving it a boost down the street afterwards. mega smoke screen the first time.

am keen on getting this done.

i read somewhere that its recommended to get an oil change after using the can. is this accurate?

now, gotta find a place in chch where i won't attract attention with white smoke..

Driveway or paddock will do! :D

      Afternoon team,
im new to the group first time posting. Im hoping some body can help me get my launch control all dialled in on my link g4x. Ive had the computer and car all tuned from chris at prestige awesome knowlegable guy super happy with the results but now im wanting to get my launch/anti lag all dialled in. Ive been reading multiple different forums etc all with different conflicking information which has made me nervious with what do i listen to this or that if you get what i mean. Now ive started to make myself familiar with my PClink software etc the past few weeks and im eager to learn how to do minor setups or tweaks etc so im not relieing on my tuner so much and obviously saving myself abit hurt in the back pocket.
Now back to the question at hand.... Im wondering if theres and one who could please share there knowledge and wisdom with setting all my values, timing, fuel etc when i have launch control armed and engaged, or even a launch tune file they can possibly send me to load onto my tune. Ive figured out the setup of my digital inputs turning launch control on etc and its obvisously on its pre set factory settings. It engages but doesnt sound the greatest or as angry as it should i feel. Hence reaching out to you good buggers.

Cheers in advance for any info and help yous maybe able to give me.

      Cheers Shaun
