SUBARU Upper Engine Cleaner...anyone used this?

I dont see how it would harm your car, you're only running it through your system for a couple of minutes or how ever long it takes so detonation isn't likely to happen, I think you'd be fine with it somehow..

perhaps along the lines of any build up of carbon on valves is actually helping to seal the engine, and if you remove it chances are it may go *poof*

similar concept to oil change, remove sludge and make it easier to loose compression (with thinner/newer oil)

i put it through an old Mazda familia, its done 189,xxx kms and it was more than thankful for the treatment.

Its NA, not even a subbie and its old, so go figure.

Has anyone tried spraying it directly into the trottle body? My throttle body looks fairly dirty on the inside of it (This is for a 2.0 N/A)

itl be a carby, *just trying to think*.. had a dizzy so must be carby.. right.. ? not a hundred on that - I feel stupid coz i think i should know dizzy and manual adjustment for timing all is standard on a carby system eh, and coils etc on F.E?

I've had 5 people including 2 mechanics look at mine so i can top up the oil. NOT ONE CAN FIND THE HOLE.

The best answer i've had is you fill the oil up then put the filter on haha.

Made it a mission to put my motor up in there.

I live in hastings. When I was in there a few months ago I saw it on the shelf in parts. Wonder if it was the parts guy that said not to use it or the service guys, they don't share the same office.

Looking at my old service history the upper engine cleaner is part of the regular service.
