But if you mean by stink, different coloured panels, stone chips, dented rear bar etc.

Then thats still okay, If it has go - But I wouldn't want to own it haha.

I think dubbedup and I are on the same wave.

well, as i own a bc5 that was f&*^ed by the last owner, mine goes fixups, fixups and more fixups. then when ive finished that i will let you know!!!

by the way, if we all own subies, why isnt anyone else spending money on fixups???

so running an external with scremer pipe on spring pressure (7-8psi) so it screams its tits off... what is that?

show/power/looks/rice...sound?

lol.. just curious coz i have seen a few cars whoz external opens at the drop of 2500rpm or so indicating v low boost lol... but sounds very racey/aggressive/(dare i say) ho bait.....

i just like my cars too be a bit different really, 2 tone now, and sti blue, havent seen another car the same which is cool,

power, well its turbo and most turbos go quick,just the basics keep me happy

handling was 1st on mine, lowered and now got strut bar,feels better then a boat anyway

The forester was about loooks mostly but did performance 2..

This time round with teh r definatly a differnet car and focused more on performance, but also havent skimped on looks but notihng over the top going for a bit of a "Race spec" look lol..Plain and simple..

To be 100% honest, I'm not a big Japanese performance car fan. Subarus and Nissan Skylines are the only cars I like from Japan, the GTR being my favorite Nissan, I'd never spend money on one but respect is due. I'm into American cars (flaming begins lol) but have always loved the GTB wagons. I like my cars very subtle and tastefully done. Can't stand cheap looking cars with 18 body kits, stickers, 5ft wings, altezza lights and the only engine mod being a CAI kit LMAO! They're the reason Japanese cars get soooo much grief about being "rice". Lowered a tad, nice 18" rims and some nice custom tastefully done touches IMO are the way to go. If I had to choose, it would have to be looks. I'd rather have a nice cruising car than an utter POS that looks like a crap but can go fast - you can't polish a turd.

I would modify a standard subaru in this order:

sparco lip

air filter

exhaust

adjustable suspension

suspension adjustments i.e sway bars etc.

race rims with good rubber

good fluid, pads, disks

link ECU, injectors, fuel pump and tune

after that things just get expensive and complicated

      Afternoon team,
      im new to the group first time posting. Im hoping some body can help me get my launch control all dialled in on my link g4x. Ive had the computer and car all tuned from chris at prestige awesome knowlegable guy super happy with the results but now im wanting to get my launch/anti lag all dialled in. Ive been reading multiple different forums etc all with different conflicking information which has made me nervious with what do i listen to this or that if you get what i mean. Now ive started to make myself familiar with my PClink software etc the past few weeks and im eager to learn how to do minor setups or tweaks etc so im not relieing on my tuner so much and obviously saving myself abit hurt in the back pocket. 
      Now back to the question at hand.... Im wondering if theres and one who could please share there knowledge and wisdom with setting all my values, timing, fuel etc when i have launch control armed and engaged, or even a launch tune file they can possibly send me to load onto my tune. Ive figured out the setup of my digital inputs turning launch control on etc and its obvisously on its pre set factory settings. It engages but doesnt sound the greatest or as angry as it should i feel. Hence reaching out to you good buggers.
