When I was down there for a week I was stunned. Really aggressive drivers but dare I say it, skilled. Never really thought anyone was going to fail to stop at an intersection where they might actually hit someone. You guys can ACTUALLY judge gaps and distances ;D Aucklanders are generally pretty hopeless.

i went and got th painter who did my car the weight sheet for the paints. Cos its a pearl metallic its hard to get right and didnt want the car in three diff colours. O AND DONT USE WAYNE VERCOE IN PALMY. Bloody hopeless.

Couldnt match paint if his mum mixed it for him.

The car is getting repainted at the NAC shop, RJ Smith & Davies. They do a lot of 'back to stock' repairs and repaints for dealerships like Moyes, and 'stock' is good...

Tell ya what if the back end looks good...I'm gonna get a quote for the rest of the car!

i pulled my out of shape rear bumber off the other day, got a block of 2by4 and a large hammer and beat the boot tray/wall back into shape. (it was all pushed in, the spare tyre wouldn't fit)

the licence plate holder was pretty much flat, gave that some rough love and its all come right. hit the bumper with some white spray paint and its sorted.

ill get a new bumper one day, but i'm fine with it.. certainly looks a lot better than it did.

Shale, Bunnings has/had a buffer for $40 odd (ozito brand, & I think the special might still be going if you hurry to the big green shed closest to you)... ;D

EXACTLY, it's only body damage. Thank GOD. It looks bad...but it'll come right. Few thousand dollars for that repair though!
