im guessing you have a 96 gtb based on sig..

14-16 is about right.. Is it a two stage controller for the TT system or nah

LOL, the boost controller is only a few weeks old!

Nah, I think it's the turbo 'cause it's whistling quite loud and if I'm going up a hill at 2500 RPM and the revs go up only a tiny bit (say up to 3000 RPM) or not at all with my foot flat to the floor it will hold 12 PSI so there is no leak anywhere. I think it's the turbo being unable to produce boost (well at the levels I want it too) at higher RPM.

my GTB was running 11psi on the GTB block but i done a big end. only replacement i could get was a RS block. now its running at 9.5psi not to sure why.

im hoping my boost controller will fix that and put it up to 14psi

The RS block being a non-bspec, will flow significantly less, which is why you're not able to get the spool to make the boost.

as for me: 1990 BC5 GT (5MT) running 18psi

was going to put the GTB heads on the RS block but didn't know if they would fit.

as i had to do the head gaskets on the RS.

18 psi sounds like fun i will have to save for a piggy back ecu

so i can run that sort of boost.

ing to think maybe my bd5 rs has some sort of aftermarket computer, it looks like a factory ecu but doesnt have a sticker on it, just a sticker saying 'serviced by bla bla bla, removal of this sticker voids all warantys' and it has no speed cut and feels a bit gruntier than my brother in laws bd5, may have to wind up the boost and see what results i get wind the boost up and see what sesu

Its a BC5 in looks only. Its been converted to 3 plug ECU.

I was running 18psi in my BF5 for a while, now running 16.

      Afternoon team,
im new to the group first time posting. Im hoping some body can help me get my launch control all dialled in on my link g4x. Ive had the computer and car all tuned from chris at prestige awesome knowlegable guy super happy with the results but now im wanting to get my launch/anti lag all dialled in. Ive been reading multiple different forums etc all with different conflicking information which has made me nervious with what do i listen to this or that if you get what i mean. Now ive started to make myself familiar with my PClink software etc the past few weeks and im eager to learn how to do minor setups or tweaks etc so im not relieing on my tuner so much and obviously saving myself abit hurt in the back pocket.
Now back to the question at hand.... Im wondering if theres and one who could please share there knowledge and wisdom with setting all my values, timing, fuel etc when i have launch control armed and engaged, or even a launch tune file they can possibly send me to load onto my tune. Ive figured out the setup of my digital inputs turning launch control on etc and its obvisously on its pre set factory settings. It engages but doesnt sound the greatest or as angry as it should i feel. Hence reaching out to you good buggers.

Cheers in advance for any info and help yous maybe able to give me.

      Cheers Shaun
